A couple of questions to those who've been to metalcamp before:

About food in the festival/camping area:
- Is there a store(or stores) nearby?
- Is there a possibility for breakfast(e.g. coffee/sandwiches) in the camping/festival area?
- What is the estimated average price for a portion of food?

About drinks in the festival/camping area:
- Is it allowed to bring your own drinks inside the festival area?
- How much does a beer cost inside the festival area?
- Is there a designated bar area or can you drink anywhere you want?
- Can you buy other drinks besides beer from the festival area?

There's a supermarket right next to the camping area and there was a grocery tent on the camping area itself. We stayed in a hotel, so didn't go see what was on sale there. Yes, there were food tents that served breakfast as well.
The food prices range from the three-euro pizza slices to something like Wiener steak close to ten euros.

No, you can't bring your own drinks to the festival area. Beer cost three euros. Nope, no Nordic stupidity and you could walk around with your drink. There's some drinks available although they were somewhat pricey.

Thanks mate!

Good to know that there's stores nearby and some breakfast available.
Also the variety of food is a big plus.

See you at the festival!

we have own shop at the camp with prices equal to shp prices in town. also 1/2l beer for 1€.
we also sell good food there. same food that our stuff is eating.
if you don´t mind 0,2€ price difference on beer, you should buy it at our camp shop cos it help us making better festival.
this year we will have two shops.
just look for hells kitchen canteen.... open 24h
prices are lower than at most festivals.

inside the festival venue are lot of food and drink stands but the price is little higher.

The canteen at the camp was really good. And it felt great to eat in the shades.
I remember a guy asked there for burger or kebab, and the girl answered "sorry, no junkfood here". His face was priceless
