Question to our Slovenian friends

Hey guys,

I would like to use this topic because I have another "question to our Slovenian friends":

Could someone please translate and/or explain how this works (especially how you activate it) ?
http://www.tusmobil.si/paketi/brezmejni-internet-24ur.html

Last year, friends of mine bought a SIM card at the local gas station, but they didn't get it to work in their smartphones. :?
The offer says that you get 24h-internet for just 1 Euro, is that correct? Do you know if it works, or are there any alternative options? And: Where else in Tolmin is it possible to buy such a thing?

Thx in advance! :)

Hey, that's a good idea. You can buy this package at every TUŠMOBIL selling point and it's 1€/24h. You can load it up on the selling point or over the internet too I guess, but I'm too lazy to check how. You also need to pay 5€ for SIM / micro SIM if you want to use it in a phone or 39€ if you want SIM + USB plug&play modem so you can also use it for your computer. Speed: HSPA+ up to 7.2Mbps (but most likely depends on the connection available in Tolmin a lot).

Here are TUŠ selling points: http://www.tusmobil.si/index.php?option ... &Itemid=55

Hope that helps ;)

Its possible, that their phone provider has locked their phones, so they work only with their SIM cards.

Yes, you need an unlocked phone. If you don't have one the USB modem will work just fine on any computer :)

Thank you very much! :)

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a TUŠ selling point near Tolmin... And the phones where unlocked, of course. I think they'll just try again and ask some locals for help if it won't work again. But thanks to you anyway!

Near the camp there's a supermarket called Eurospin and they sell cheap beer :D If you put it in the cooler bag it's just fine.
However, as I remember last year Laško was sold at the camp for 1 eur/0,5L and that's a fair price for me (it was cheaper than in Mercator).
