Hello -

We will be staying in Kobarid and driving to the festival everyday. I was wondering if there is closer handicapped parking other than the small parking lot by the grocery store (this is a long walk I'm not sure I can make twice a day). Also, is there a handicapped seating section for the main stage and if so do we need to have any documentation to enter? Is family able to sit with me?

Thanks

Taken from the festival info

IMPAIRED PEOPLE - WHEELCHAIR USERS

Wheelchair users or other physically handicapped people who rely on support, can bring 1 escorting person to the festival area for free. They are allowed to use the VIP camping grounds, which enable an easier passage to the festival area. Handicapped accessible restrooms will be available. Please notice, that due to lack of space, MetalDays does not provide platform for handicapped people in front of stage, but we do allow watching the shows from the photo-pit. Please ask our security personnel on site, they will be happy to assist you. Please note that an official medical certificate will be demanded upon your arrival!

Hope this helps

Yes it does, thanks Jonnny! I am traveling from the US with my wife and young niece; do you know, will they be able to sit/stand with me in the photo-pit? Again, thanks for all your help!!!

I don't know that I'm afraid, it is a fairly laid back festival for the most part so I would imagine they wouldn't mind having them with you so long as you weren't in the way or trying to take 5 people with you! But I can't say for certain.

Hey hey,

Does your wife go as your escorting person (with a free ticket) and how old is your niece?

Best,
Barbara

Hello Barb -

We did not think it was right to get a free ticket so we paid for my wife. My niece just turned 18.
