I'll finally get to hear Anneke live :!: :!: :!:

Apart from that I'm not too fond of the lack of prog metal acts. :| More time to enjoy Soča and beer then. :D

My initial excitement regarding first announcements with this full 3rd tier annoucement list bit faded out, but lets wait and see.

The first announcement was glorious, this one just adds a few interesting things to make it an overall very decent line-up.
Tbh, there are a shitload of my personal suggestions from previous years topics that got added, almost as if my post were read and listened by the organizers

Don't expect anything decent more added (headliners are 99% forgettable), but I bet At The Gates will be there (because of The Lurking Fear). Some Dimmu Burger (@Wacken just after) could be fun while drinking some booze. Would make some passable headliners, if anything acceptable can be picked.

Anyway, I'm going to Obscene Extreme the week before so making a week-detour by Tolmin seems a very likeable option now that there is finally a decent fucking line-up (albeit not über-amazing) after 5 years! Well done ;)

Congratulations :!:

You managed to make EVEN WORSE line up what you had in 2017!

That would need some serious planning to make it worse than that but you managed to do it against all the odds - good job!

Lineup is 98% complete shit.... this might be understatement because even shit has some purpose - this lineup doesnt!

Oh, my favourite troll has spoken.
Keep doing it bro. It is so boring without you. I keep this forum alive mostly just to be able to read your posts.
See you in Tolmin...I know you will be there watching Girlschool.

Lifemocker, I would really like to see your ideal lineup. I'm just intrigued what would be the:
5 headliners
10 coheadliners
and the aprox 20 other bands in the next tier.

I really want to see if the lineup would be possible to book in theory, if it's affordable and if it would bring 12k people to the festival.

Moonsorrow
Plaga
Audn
Almyrkvi
Dynfari
Thyrfing
Throes of Dawn
Psychonaut 4
Shape Of Despair
Anaal Nathrakh
Demonic Death Judge
Vreid
Fäulnis
Herem
IXXI
Kampfar
Naglfar
Kvelertak
Månegarm
Nachtmystium
Nocturnal Depression
October Tide
Oranssi Pazuzu
Skogen
Slechtvalk
The Canyon Observer
Blood Red Throne
Coughdust
Dark Funeral

Finntroll
King of Asgard
Slagmaur
Torture Killer
Helheim
Aihos

When you dont book super big bands - there is money left for good quality mid size bands which make the festival interesting 8-)
And you dont even need this many great bands to make good festival. You can make 3 good festivals with these bands but... since now a days theres only 1-5 good bands in lineup - no point of people to come there because of music

I am not a big fan of this year's lineup either, but your suggestions also aren't really helping. I don't think that a lineup of mostly black/pagan metal bands would attract many visitors. Where is prog, power, stoner metal? I am furthermore not sure if I would go to a festival where so many depressive/suicidal black metal bands perform.
